BISSELL Pet Foundation is bringing holiday hope to homeless pets by prompting a national call for adoption with its Empty the Shelters™ reduced-fee adoption event Dec. 1-17. The Richmond SPCA is participating along with more than 400 shelters in 45 states. To help deserving pets find loving homes, BISSELL Pet Foundation sponsors reduced adoption fees during each nationwide event.

Through Tuesday, December 17, adoption fees for all adult dogs (6 months and older) will be only $50 during the BISSELL Pet Foundation’s Empty the Shelters — Holiday Hope event. 

Each pet placed in a lasting, loving home adds to our capacity to help the next pet in need in our community. During this holiday season we continue to partner with municipal shelters throughout Virginia to bring dogs into our care and relieve crowding in their shelters. By opening your heart and home to a dog from the Richmond SPCA, you save two lives!
